The MLS returns to action with a one-off tournament involving all 26 teams, between July 8 and August 11.

The new tournament will take place behind closed doors in Orlando, Florida. Every MLS team will compete, and are split into six groups. Five of the groups will contain four teams, and the remaining group will have six teams.
Every team will play three group stage matches, with results counting towards the 2020 MLS regular season standings.
Sixteen teams will then advance to the knockout stage, which will be a straightforward knockout bracket taking place on July 25-28.
