Complete List of Sports Scheduled Return Dates

As professional sports leagues around the World make their return, we're keeping tabs on return dates below.

Golf

The Match Champions for Charity featuring Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson returns this Sunday, May 24th.

Golf's PGA Tour is scheduled to return on June 11 with the Charles Schwab in Fort Worth, Texas. Many PGA Tour players are overseas though, so this is likely to be a smaller field.

As for the Majors, the British Open has been completely canceled, with the PGA Championship scheduled for August 6-9, the US Open set for September 17-20, and the Masters on November 12-15.

Soccer

Bundesliga, K-League, and Belarus Premier Leagues are all in play. Some major European leagues have set the following return dates:

Other leagues such as the English Premier League and Champions League are still undecided but scheduled to return sometime in July/August.

The MLS has targeted the second week of June for a return.

Euro 2020 and Copa America 2020 have both been postponed to the same dates in 2021.

Tennis

Whilst there is some tennis action going on with pros playing at private residences, the ATP and WTA tours look unlikely to return at this point.

The French Open rescheduled a while ago to September 20-October 4, and Wimbledon has canceled this year's event completely. The US Open is still on the calendar but looks unlikely.

Due to the international nature of the sport, it may be Australia in 2021 before we see the top players back in action on the tour.

Horse Racing

Some racing is still taking place around the US at smaller tracks.

All Triple Crown races have all been rescheduled (and re-ordered) as follows:

Major US Sports

The NFL is set as normal right now, with opening Sunday on September 13. The first game on Thursday September 10th sees the Chiefs take on the Texans. It looks very likely the NFL will start without fans.

Major League Baseball is trying to agree on a deal with the players union for a start in July. This is currently far from certain.

NBA and NHL seasons are in limbo, and no restart date has been set. Previous comments relating to a June start seem premature at this stage.

Motor Sports

Nascar has successfully held some events behind closed doors and looks set to continue doing so.

That blueprint will be a good one for F1 to follow, as they are set to restart in Austria on July 5. They are looking at back-to-back races at the same venue to start the season.

Summer Olympics

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics has been postponed to 2021. If it can't go ahead then, it is said that the games will be canceled completely.

Tour de France

Le Tour has been postponed to new dates - August 29 to September 20.
